Born in Novo Mesto, Slovenia in 1987

Lives and works in Berlin since 2012

My artistic practice is process-oriented and rooted in themes of memory, identity, and care work, which shape my experiences as a mother and an artist with a migration background. These themes connect personal experiences with societal norms, which I explore and question in my work. I am particularly interested in their psychological dimensions—how memory shapes perception, how identity is formed through relationships, and how care work is embedded in social structures.

I am especially drawn to the subject of ambivalence — exploring the coexistence of opposing emotions and ideas within a single moment.
