ABOUT

Born in Novo Mesto, Slovenia in 1987

Lives and works in Berlin since 2012

My practice examines how repetition and maintenance function as structuring forces within intimate and social life. Working across installation, performance, textiles, and sound, I explore how care, memory, and discipline are sustained through ordinary gestures that accumulate over time. Rather than framing care as a private emotion, I approach it as social infrastructure- a learned system of behaviors and embodied routines that organizes relationships and distributes responsibility.

Born in former Yugoslavia, I work within a context marked by political rupture and enduring patriarchal formations. I am interested in how large-scale histories sediment within domestic space and the body itself. Repetition operates in my work as both method and analytic device: weaving, counting, looping, and reiteration render visible the durational labor through which identities are formed and maintained.

My installations construct environments that oscillate between intimacy and constraint. Text, textile, and voice function as carriers of lived experience, producing spaces where personal memory intersects with collective structure. By extending everyday actions beyond their immediate function, I expose the often-invisible systems that depend upon endurance, adjustment, and continual self-regulation.
